Boxing Day Relief

Hey everyone, hope you and your families had a wonderful Christmas day! I can't believe it's already Boxing Day... and soon it'll be another start to a New Year.

Well, I didn't think it could be humanly possible but I've never seen 1 child receive so many gifts for Christmas. Is it because family members want to outshine and outdo each other by the gifts that they buy?! Wow, I think this is it for Keira in the toy department. Next year, there will be a new member to the household (Claude's nephew's wife is preggers!), so Keira will have to share the spotlight (IF there's any left over from the new baby! lol). Knowing Keira, she will stay close and monitor the new baby, making sure no one misses the baby's cries, whimpers, gurgles. hehe.

I hope despite the money-making machine that's xmas, you all spent the day with your loved-ones and just enjoyed! Onto the New Year!!

Our new christmas tree!

Well, finally got our act together and actually decorated our Christmas tree. We ended up buying a new tree (as we don't remember what happened to the old one) and new decorations bought at Veronneau. They have amazing stuff! We finished buying gifts for everyone and good too as we had our first christmas party last night at the babysitter's. One down, 3 more to go!

We finally brought Keira to see Père Noel today. Went to our local mall and of course, we rode the little choo-choo train. Actually, it was a great ride as it went from one end of the mall to the other. The Elf-train conductor was so enthusiastic, singing, ringing the bell and hooting the horn, the kids were stamping their feet in tune with her singing! Keira included. Did Keira know who Santa was? Yes. Did she want to sit with Santa? Nope. lol. But she did sit with him to take a pic.

Sigh, 3 more days to go... Hopefully, we'll all get to sleep in in the next few days!
