What a blur the weekends are. Another one come and gone. Thank you all so very much for the beautiful and heartfelt anniversary wishes! I loved reading every single one. Thank you.
Did you think we would make this a 10th anniversary magical weekend? If you did, you'd be wrong. lol. We were planning on going out to dinner, somewhere nice but in the end, we just couldn't make up our minds where to go. So Keira had a friend over on Saturday and another one on Sunday. The mister was away helping out his best friend move (they've known each other since they were 4!) and Keira and I were home. First we had a movie date. I've been on a Narnia trip and hadn't seen the third instalment. So I watched it with Keira. The character she loves best? Of all people, Eustace & Reepicheep! She can't get over how fast Eustace talks and apparently how his eyebrows never move. haha! I've even caught her reciting this line right before bedtime, accent and all: "this place just gets weirdah and weirdah" – Eustace.
It was supposed to be crummy and rainy weather today which made our plans become.. non-plans. Hence the staying in watching movie part. But as soon as we realized it would stay sunny, Keira invited her friend over and they had a lovely time outside in the backyard, playing in the tiny sand crab, eating snacks & letting their imaginations go wild.
And now.. back to reality. sigh...
